A Study of the Truth
This humble expatriate writer, Dr. Sabri g. Bebawi, would like to make sure that his fellow American citizens understand something they, perhaps had never thought of.
Do Americans celebrate Cinco de Mayo ( 5th of May) because they love Mexicans very much? The answer is obviously no; Americans hate Mexicans. Then why is Cinco de Mayo is so significant?
To put it simply, if it was not for Cinco de Mayo, we would all be speaking French now. Please allow me to explain. Perhaps it might help if you read my study on debunking the Myth of Abraham Lincoln at: https://theresistenace.com/2017/09/23/debunking-the-abraham-lincoln-myth/
The American Civil War was fought in the United States from 1861 to 1865. As a result of the long-standing controversy over slavery, war broke out in April 1861, when Confederate forces attacked Fort Sumter in South Carolina, shortly after U.S. President Abraham Lincoln was inaugurated. The nationalists of the Union proclaimed loyalty to the U.S. Constitution. They faced secessionists of the Confederate States, who advocated for states’ rights to expand slavery.
It was on this date in 1862 when the outnumbered Mexican army defeated the invading French forces of Napoleon the Third at the Battle of Puebla. These French Forces had been helping the South against the North in the Civil War.
Abraham Lincoln was a brilliant military man. He took advantage of the situation and issued the “Emancipation Declaration.” which is also referred to as “Proclamation 95,” in which Abraham Lincoln, intelligently, issued an executive order President Abraham on January 1, 1863 which changed the federal legal status of more than 3 million enslaved African Americans in the designated areas of the South from slave to free. In this, he actually asked the black slaves to leave the South and join the Northern Army as a price for their “supposedly” freedom. The Blacks did and the South was paralyzed. No French support, lack of fighters, and confusion that lead to the victory of the North against the South.
So dear readers, next time you drink that Budweiser on May 5th, remember that it was all politics; that it was Mexico who saved the United States; and it is not as many think that it is a celebration of the rich heritage of music, dance, food and culture of Mexico. Americans hate all non Aryans and specially Mexicans.
